41/366 Ft. Snelling National Cemetery. My father was laid to rest here on Friday, February 10, 2012. It was a bitterly cold day. It is amazing to see these white markers neatly lined up as far as the eye can see. Sad, and joyful, day to celebrate my father's life. Photo was taken with 6x7 with no post processing.

ReplyDeleteFort Snelling in the Twin Cities?! I visit there often and have snapped many photos of burial ceremonies and markers. Great place to also watch aircraft taking off and landing from the airport. Your father's burial site is really quite impressive. I'll think of you and him on my next visit.
