Clouds
We get thunderstorms almost everyday during the summer in Tampa Bay. Even though it is the first day of fall, summer lasts much longer in Florida. These storms produce beautiful big puffy clouds. If you look closely, you can see a plane soaring into the clouds. This photo was taken with the iPhone and was post processed in in Snapseed using the drama 1 effect.
Mel at the Palm

The center cone of the magnolia flower has these bright red seeds inside. The original photo was taken with Camera+ of this cone laying on a brick walkway. Next the photo was brought into StripeCam to create the upper and lower stripes. Then Juxtaposer added a complete cone image on top. Grungetastic grunged it up a bit. Finally Dynamic Light applied that dynamic look.

Violet Dreams
Welcome to my newest follower Kate. Thanks Randy for recommending my blog. This was the compilation of several processes. First, an Olloclip was attached to the iPhone 4 using the macro lens. The photo was taken in a new app to me, which is HalfCamera. This app allows you to put up to 12 pictures together in one frame. I did some processing to each of the individual photos and added the border in this app. Next, I brought the photo into Dynamic Light and crested a B&W stamp like image. Finally, I brought the color and B&W versions into another new app to me, that being Superimpose. They were blended together with the normal mode.

St. Pete Times
St. Petersburg is known as the Sunshine City as it is rumored that the sun shines 365 days out of the year, which appears to be fairly accurate. The city's newspaper is the St. Pete Times, which is one of the top 10 newspapers in the country. This paper used to give out free newspapers on days when the sun did not shine. It is sad that daily print newspapers are declining. I miss the days when there were morning and evening newspapers. This statue, outside of a museum in St. Pete, reflects the days when young men would hawk newspapers by the side of the road; now they still do this with the Sunday newspaper. Photo was shot in the Camera+ app with auto scene and further post processing occured in PhotoToaster.

I also applied the magic hour fx effect and added a white grit border.

Go Bulls!
USF (University of South Florida) played the Fighting Irish and beat them 23-20. The game was historic as there were two rain delays where the entire stadium needed to be evacuated and a former graduate/player (Skip Holtz) came back as the coach of USF to beat his alma mater. His father was the famous Notre Dame coach, Lou Holtz. Here are two fans celebrating the victory. Shot was taken outside a Bahama Breeze with Camera+ app using flash with auto scene applied. A colored rendition was combined with a B&W rendition in PhotoWizard. Frame was added in crop-n-frame.
