120/366 Bagpipes in Motion. April's theme for Mobitog's iPhoneographer of the year is movement. You can feel, hear and see the movement in this photo of the Ft. Lauderdale Military Tattoo. You can feel the movement of the impending storm and the swishing of the tartan plaid kilts. You can hear the drums beating and the distinctive sound of the bagpipes as they approach. You can see the cadence as the players march along in step. Notice how they all are about to move forward with their left foot. Photo was taken with 645 Pro. Post processing occurred in Big Lens for the depth of field and Iris Photo Studio for coloring, sharpness, grunge look and framing.

116/366 Dances With Palms. B&W Wednesday. Sometimes you discover the most beautiful things while window shopping. This lovely dress, perfect for a prom or wedding, was found in a storefront along St. Petersburg's Central Ave. Photo was taken with 645 Pro. Pp occurred in Qbro.

115/366 Reflections on a Lobby. Week 17's theme of my 2012/52 is reflection. These bromeliads were bathing in the afternoon sunlight in an office building lobby. Photo was taken with iPhone. Water My Photo created the water reflection. The River filter was applied in aremaC. Squara was used to crop, light and apply frame.

Escape From the Zoo

114/366 Escape From the Zoo. Photo of the fountain was taken with the iPhone. Movie-like effect of the rhinos were created from a currently free app called VFX. With this app, you can add a lot of interesting things to your photos. Filterstorm was used to adjust brightness and exposure of the main photo. Finally, PictureShow was used to grunge things up and add the framing.

113/366 Frolicking in the Sunset. Two people, on the shore at Belleair Beach, are enjoying the last minutes of sunshine after a rainy weekend. Photo was shot with 645 Pro and pp with XnView Fx to create the grunge and framing.

Lassie Watching Games

112/366 Lassie Watching Games. Dunedin has Scottish Highland Games every year. There are athletic events, military tattoos ( bagpipe marching bands) and traditional Scottish dancing along with food and beer. This lovely lassie is all decked out in her tie dye shirt and red plaid kilt. Photo was pp in iPhoto to create the painterly look and Steampunk for final look and leather framing.

Small Town Justice

111/366 Small Town Justice. This scene reminds me of Mayberry. Andy Griffith and Barnie may come walking up at any moment. I don't remember which app created the sepia effect, but LensLight created the colored flares.

Stone From Oz

110/366 Stone From Oz. Hipstamatic Thursday. This natural stone from Australia was painted by an aboriginal artist. It features a platypus painted in traditional colors with circles and lines. It is one of my most treasured souvenirs. This was shot with Tejas lens and Float film with no flash.

Picnic Island Beach

109/366 Picnic Island Beach. B&W Wednesday. Picnic Island is located on Tampa Bay at the southern tip of Tampa at the port. This was shot with 6x7 and pp'd in Instagram.

Broccoli Bouquet

108/366 Broccoli Bouquet. Week 16's theme of my 2012/52 is green. This is a photo of a bunch of broccoli in a green vase was taken with the 6x7 app. Photo was post processed in pxl and then blended with the original in Blender. PhotoWizard was used for the lighting and framing effects.

Warhol Me

107/366 Warhol Me. This selfie was taken and processed in warhol:DIY. This app was created by the Warhol Museum in Cincinnati. The background was created in Photo Soft Box app. The two photos were blended together in Laminar with a retro filter applied therein as well.

M'm!, M'm! Warhol

106/366 M'm!, M'm! Warhol. Today I went to the Florida Museum of Photographic Arts where they have on display photos and prints created by Andy Warhol. Hence, the inspiration for today's piece. This was shot, and processed, with the tadaa app on the iPhone, with the Photo Soft Box app creating the background. Further post processing occurred in the Moku Hanga app.

Bee at Magnolia Salad Bar

105/366 Bee at Magnolia Salad Bar. The Magnolias are just starting to bloom and spread their luscious perfume throughout the air. This drives the bees crazy and they roll around on these seedlings. Photo was taken with 6x6. It was pp in PSExpress to crop, saturate and sharpen. Modern Grunge was used to create the final look.

Good Night Sunshine

104/366 Good Night Sunshine. This beautiful silhouetted tree, is overlooking a glorious sunset on Tampa Bay. Photo was taken with the tadaa app using the Santa Cruz filter and the packing paper frame.

Pen Style

103/366 Pen Style. I love pens and this stylish beauty was made by Acme. It has a Frank Lloyd Wright design around its barrel. For Hipstamatic Thursday, I thought I would try some product photography. This photo was taken using the Watts Lens and Kodot XGrizzled Film, with no flash. The background was created with the iPad using Photo Soft Box Textures.

Oleander

102/366 Oleander. In Florida, this shrub/tree grows in people's yards, and along the freeway medians, and flowers all summer long in various shades of pink and white. You are only seeing a very small portion of this tree. This photo was shot with CameraBag. Post processing occurred in Dramatic B&W and Moku Hanga.

101/366 Crazy Glass. Week 15's theme of my 2012/52 is shiny. Photo was taken with Big Lens app in iPhone and pp in Decimate.

Lunch on the Pier

100/366. Lunch on the Pier. Sally and Lego Monday are on hiatus. This photo was taken with iPhone on the Belleair Beach Pier. PSExpress was used to crop, expose, saturate, sharpen and crop. Noise Master was used to reduce noise caused by the cropping. Infinicam gave it the final retro look.

Easter Bichon

99/366 Easter Bichon. Photo was taken with iPhone, using Instagram. Initially, it was processed in Pro Filter and then Photo FX. Finally PicBoost was used for the framing. Happy Easter!

98/366 Office Park. This shot of an office building in Clearwater was taken with CameraBag using the infrared filter. Next, XnViewFX created the posterization and color effects.

Moku Iris

97/366 Moku Iris. These iris plants were a strange vivid blue, probably for Easter, at our local Home Depot store. This picture is no longer displaying that blue. Photo was take with iPhone and post processed in Qbro, iPhoto and Moku Hanga. Hope everyone has a wonderful weekend.

Getting Ready

93/366 Getting Ready. Lego Monday. Sally decided to help Joe prepare for the 2012 Olympic Games in London this summer. Looks like Joe will need a lot of practice to make the boxing team, as Sally gave him quite a shiner in his left eye. Photo was shot with 6x6 and cropped in Squareready.
