I love twilight. This picture of two palms in Tampa sharing the phone lines was created in Pictureshow using the stereogram effect with old fashion frame, zoom noise and no light leak.

This Twistee Treat is located in Seminole FL. It is a large ice cream cone that serves Working Cow Ice Cream. Yumsters! iPhone photo processed in Photowizard with auto color; adjustment of shadows and vignetting. Before taking this photo I had a big vanilla cone with rainbow sprinkles. Good, but very messy.

This is a view of Tampa Bay near the airport. A storm was rolling toward the bay at the same time that this plane was approaching the airport. Only edit to the photo was cropping.

Beautiful Easter Pysanky

Pysanky is a process of decorating Ukrainian Easter eggs. All of the designs are symbolic. I have collected these for many years and have a big glass bowl full of them. iPhone 4 photo with frame added in Pictureshow and 50% contrast filter in Best Camera. Happy Easter! 

Jacaranda

The Jacaranda Tree is another sure sign of Spring in Florida. These pinkish/purple blossoms cover the entire tree and look quite striking against the green leaves and blue skies. This photo was manipulated in the Photowizard app by cropping, adjusted hue and saturation, along with auto color correction. 

Ducky New Home

This little duck is enjoying his new home at the New Largo Community Center. This facility has a brand new building for various community events and classes. It has spacious grounds with several ponds, both natural and made made, for the various waterfowl to live in. There appeared to be several families of ducks with ducklings in tow. This photo was basically just cropped. I love how the light was making the grasses toward the back all blurry.

Cypress Point Park

The large puffy clouds of Summer are starting to return, along with the humidity. This is shot in Tampa's Cypress Point Park, which is located right on Tampa Bay and is next to the airport. You can see planes taking off and landing up close. It is a fun place to bird or people watch. Tonight, a beauty queen was having professional photos taken amid the trees to the left of this picture. Taken with iPhone and processed in PS Express by cropping and adding a border.

O'keefe's

O'keefe's was established in 1961 and is a very popular Irish bar and restaurant in Clearwater. The food is very good and they have nightly entertainment. They have one of the largest St. Patrick's celebrations in America. Photo was processed in the Photoshow app by applying limelight filter, HDR effect and adjusting brightness.

Sunset in Clearwater Harbor. Taken with the Nikon D7000 and 18-105 mm kit lens. Processed in Aperture with auto correction, sharpening and cross process 1. 

Spring Blooms

It is a sure sign of Spring when the Magnolia blooms. Photo was processed in the Best Camera app with the square, light, contrast, vignette and border filters.

Hibiscus photo was taken with the Hipstamatic app with the Helga Viking lens, Blanko Noir film and no flash.

Pickerel Weed

Pickerel Weed found in lakes, ponds and ditches in FL. It is an 

edible plant, which gets its name from the pickerel fish, with 

which it is thought to coexist. Photo was created in the Lo-

Mob app by using the filter Instant Wide.

Carillon Park Lake Reflections

Carillon Park is a large complex of office buildings and residences. This lake has a jogging trail and exercise stations around it. Photo was  taken with the True HDR app and modified in Photowizard by cropping, adjusting exposure/ contrast and hue/saturation.

Florida's Floral Beauty

Clinging vines on a wall at the Florida Botanical Gardens. iPhone photo which was modified in an app called Lo-Mob using the 35mm MF1 overlap filter.

This Bird-of-Paradise was on the other side of the above wall at the Florida Botanical Gardens. Taken with the Nikon D7000 and 70-20mm lens. Very little adjusting in Aperture.

Belleair Causeway Bridge

 Belleair Causeway Bridge at sunset. This bridge crosses the Intercoastal Waterway 

and leads from Largo, FL to Belleair Beach, FL. It's an iPhone photo that was processed 

in the Photoshow app using a smoke filter and a black border.

Florida Botanical Gardens in Largo FL

This beautiful iris was found at the Florida Botanical Gardens. The photo was taken with iPhone 4. It was edited with the Photowizard app, where I applied auto white balance and crop. Then in the Best Camera app, I applied the 50% yellow filter and added some vignetting.

This water lilly reflection was captured in the Florida Botanical Gardens parking lot. It was taken with the Nikon D7000 and edited slighted in Aperture.

American Beauty

This was a very large American flag in Fort De Soto Park at dusk. It was edited in the iPhone with Photoshow using the vivid effect with black border and a light leak.

Fort De Soto Park North Beach

Today I attended an Outdoor Photography Workshop that included going to Fort. De Soto to take pictures at sunset. This part of the park is North Beach on the Gulf of Mexico. I was pleased to see that there was no evidence of the massive oil spill that occurred last year in the northern part of the Gulf. This photo was processed in the Photoshop Express app by cropping, adjusting exposure and saturation; along with adding a border. The app Best Camera added a yellow filter to the photo.

The Beginning

This blog will showcase my 365 daily photo project of taking photos from an iPhone and processing them with apps from within the phone. I will occasionally add photos taken from a DSLR. I hope you enjoy.

This is the new Starbucks logo. They removed the word coffee as they are branching out into more different types of products that are not coffee.
