This is the Rio Grande Gorge Bridge. The bridge is amazing and the gorge is astonishing as the land near the gorge is perfectly flat for miles and then there is this very, very deep gorge cut into the Earth by the Rio Grande River. Locally known as the "Gorge Bridge," it is a cantilever truss bridge, located 10 miles northwest of Taos, New Mexico. At 650 feet above the Rio Grande, it is the fifth highest bridge in the United States. The span is 1,280 feet.
