Tropical Storm Debby

177/366 Tropical Storm Debby. iPhoto week. This week all my 366 photos will be processed in iPhoto. When there is a hurricane or tropical storm in Florida, the clouds are unusual in the you will see multiple layers of clouds, including puffy white ones against a brilliant blue sky and dark ominous black ones that are traveling quickly in a circular direction. Yesterday, it rained all day with the rain blowing in sheets. Today, there is flooding in low areas and very windy. Photo was sharpened, saturated, exposure adjusted and an art effect applied.

Purple Pixies

175/366 Purple Pixies. Jazz Week. This photo was taken and processed with the Jazz app using an Olloclip on the iPhone. These rink little flowers, less than a quarter inch wide, grow at the end of a stem from a landscape shrub that is related to the chive family.

Ronald

174/366 Ronald. Jazz Week. My employer Liberty Mutual is celebrating its 100th anniversary and to celebrate, they are giving back to the community. Yesterday and today, employees were encouraged to volunteer at local charities. I chose to volunteer at the Ronald McDonald House. We brought and fixed lunch for the families that are staying there. I wanted a pic of Ronald, but had to settle for this pic of a textured wall hanging. Photo was jazzed up in the Jazz app.

169/366 Pop Art. Last day of instaweek. Soda Pops for all the Pops out there. Photo of soda pops lined up in a cooler at a New York style deli. Photo taken with Instagram, using the Walden filter. Happy Father's Day!

Freeda the Fun Fish

167/366 Instaweek. Freeda the Fun Fish. One of my coworkers brought in to work this fabulous ornament since we had been talking about the concept of someone putting lipstick and mascara on a fish. Photo was taken with Instagram with the X-Pro 2 filter applied.

Green Lib

156/366 Green Lib. This photo collage of palm frond was shot with the native iPhone camera. Two different photos from the original were created in Addlib. Then they were brought into Poly Frame for the framing. Finally, Scratchcam was used for the grunge effect.

Vinnie's Flower

148/366 Vinnie's Flower. I went to a sunflower maze today. It was amazing as you are walking through a field of sunflowers that are 8-10 feet tall. This photo was taken, and several filters applied, with Photo Editor. I did more photo editing and applied framing in Wood Camera. Finally, I used AutoPainter 3 to apply the painterly effect.

Penta Pinwheels

147/366 Penta Pinwheels. What Summer holiday weekend would be complete without pinwheels blowing in the wind? This photo of a pink Penta was taken in iColorama S and the pinwheel effect was created therein as well. I next used VSCO Cam for coloring and lighting. Finally, I used Jazz to create the grunge effects and border. Happy Memorial Day weekend!

145/366 Lineman on a Foggy Morning. Hipsta Thursday. Today's post is an edit on a Hipstamatic print to show what can be done with a poor photo. I took this shot of a lineman, repairing electric lines, from a garage with Hipstamatic using the Buckhorst lens and Ina 1935 film. Original shot is poor due to lighting condition having extreme contrast. For edited shot, I used PSExpress to adjust exposure, saturation, brightness, contrast, cropped and added warm vintage effect and a border. In PhotoWizard, I did more with exposure and sharpening, along with filters to change the lighting and coloring.

Yesterday, When We Were Buds

136/366 Yesterday, When We Were Buds. Week 20 of my 52/2012 has a theme of yesterday. Photo was taken with PowerSketch. VSCO was used to create preliminary coloring. Bad-Camera created the grunge and framing. 100Cameras created the final texturing.

Flowers for Mom

134/366 Flowers for Mom. These Pentas were shot with PowerSketch and then cropped in Qbro with the darken filter and framing applied. AutoPainter HD was used to create a painterly version. Then this version and the Qbro version were blended together in Blender to create the final look. Happy Mother's Day to all the moms out there.

Island Church

132/366 Island Church. This is really a Lutheran Church in downtown Clearwater, but photo makes it appear to be a church or government building on a tropical island. Photo was shot with iPhone camera, with crop and color adjustment in iPhoto. Sharpening and the textured filter were applied in Iris Photo Studio.

Paperclip Party!

128/366 Paperclip Party! This abstract was created by taking a photo of a pile of colorful paperclips with the Olloclip macro lens and the Jazz app. Postproduction occurred in Laminar for sharpening, texture and artistic filters. These clips know how to party.

Steel Blue Magnolia

127/366 Steel Blue Magnolia. This beautiful magnolia flower was shot with 6x6 and the post processed in the Jazz app, which has some wonderful filters and frames with full resolution.

Moon Over Tampa

126/366 Moon Over Tampa. This photo of the full moon rising over Tampa was shot on top of a parking garage near the International Mall. Apps used in post processing were iPhoto for crop and saturation; PSExpress for sharpening; Noise Master to reduce noise; VSCO Cam for film filter and finally, Jazz to apply the final grungy filters.

GREED

125/366 Greed. This was a selfie that I didn't really like, that I took with Camera360 in a sepia tone, so I started playing around with it. I created the poster look in green with HOPE Poster. Moku Hanga was used to apply the final grunge look.

117/366 Michelle's Flowers. Hipsta Thursday. Upper left and lower right were taken with Labatique 73 Lens, Blanko Freedom 13 Film and the Jolly Rainbo 2x Flash. Upper right and lower left were taken with Bettie XL Lens, Dylan Film, with no flash. Framing was created with FrameMagic.

116/366 Dances With Palms. B&W Wednesday. Sometimes you discover the most beautiful things while window shopping. This lovely dress, perfect for a prom or wedding, was found in a storefront along St. Petersburg's Central Ave. Photo was taken with 645 Pro. Pp occurred in Qbro.
