Dolly

P789

151/366 Dolly. B&W Wednesday. Dolly is a project on Mobitog.com where participants have purchased a "Schleich Standing Sheep" and they will take postcard photos with Dolly in locations all over the world. Toward the end of 2012, the favorite 100 postcard photos will be compiled into a book. People on Mobitog are very creative, so it will be a fun and interesting project. My Dolly wanted her portrait taken before she traveled to any exotic locations. The result was taken with 645 Pro using the 6x9 back and the F4 film. Antiqued look was created in Awesome Camera using several filters and a frame. The writing was created in Phonto. Check out the "Where are Ewe Dolly?" thread on Mobitog.com

Trois Debutantes

P1061

139/366 Trois Debutantes. FFF (Filter Free Friday) I was trying to take filter free picture with the 645 Pro app. I did not quite succeed as I did not realize the film dial needs to go blank and the back dial needs to disappear for it to be filter less. So this shot was taken with the 645 back and FC5 film. These lovely orchids were making their debut at the Wyndham Hotel in Tampa.

Bagpipes in Motion

P841

120/366 Bagpipes in Motion. April's theme for Mobitog's iPhoneographer of the year is movement. You can feel, hear and see the movement in this photo of the Ft. Lauderdale Military Tattoo. You can feel the movement of the impending storm and the swishing of the tartan plaid kilts. You can hear the drums beating and the distinctive sound of the bagpipes as they approach. You can see the cadence as the players march along in step. Notice how they all are about to move forward with their left foot. Photo was taken with 645 Pro. Post processing occurred in Big Lens for the depth of field and Iris Photo Studio for coloring, sharpness, grunge look and framing.
