A Bird's 4th
Even the bird's are celebrating the 4th of July this year. The 4th is when the United States celebrates it's independence from Great Britain since 1776. This birdhouse was located along Main Street in Moorestown, New Jersey. This photo was taken with the iPhone camera and then processed in the Camera+ app.

The Long Pier
The Long Pier at Redington Shores is a splendid place to watch the sunset and take photos. There is the pier, sand dunes, birds, people and of course the water. Several apps were used to create this photo. I starting by taking the picture with an iPhone 4 using the iCameraHDR app and applied the normal tone mapping. Then I cropped, adjusted exposure, and applied a border in PS Express. Next I applied the 50% candy filter from the Best Camera app. Finally it was processed in Snapseed using the Drama 2 effect. I love the painterly quality of the photo. Below are several more photos from this session taken with the Nikon D7000.
